Pure by Hairjamm- an Australian company that provides beautiful natural cruelty-free home maintenance products. Their entire range is sulphate, paraben and gluten free as well as being 100% certified organic.
Eminence Organic Skincare – beautiful hand made organic skincare from Hungary that delivers exceptional results. This is a company that takes its environmental responsibilities seriously – they plant a tree for every product sold, their packaging is recycled and printed with vegetable dye and they donate organic food to children’s hospitals around the world.
Inika Cosmetics – an Australian company that produces gorgeous cruelty-free, organic vegan makeup that is great news for your skin and the environment as well as our animal friends.
Our hairstylists are highly skilled at using their artistic talents together with the latest techniques to create the perfect look for you. We offer all hair services including cuts, foils and balayage, hair extensions, colours and perms.
Our experienced beauty therapists are available for all of your facial and beauty needs. Specialising in facials, we also offer a full range of beauty services including massage, waxing, manicures and pedicures, lash lifts and lash and brow tinting.
Our team of hair stylists and beauty therapists participate in regular ongoing education so they can offer you the latest in treatments and home-care advice
The loss of income that we have experienced in the last few months from people either not showing up or ringing on the day to move their appointment has seriously impacted our ability to continue to recover from last years 20 week lockdown and the more recent lockdowns so far this year.
Standard practice in the hair and beauty industry is for clients to pay a small deposit when they make their booking. This is a system we have managed to avoid until now.
When you book with us you will now be asked for a deposit as follows:
New Clients – 25% of the cost of their service
Occasional Clients – 25% of the cost of their service
Regular Clients – 15% of the cost of their service when rebooking in the salon
20% of the cost of their service when rebooking online
Our online booking system is now set up to take payments.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel your appointment your deposit will be refunded if you give us 48 hours notice. Alternatively we’re happy to move your appointment to another time and apply your deposit to that visit.
Rescheduling: We’re very flexible with appointment changes when given 48 hours notice as this gives us enough time to fill the vacancy. If you reschedule with less than 48 hours notice your deposit will be retained by us to partially cover the cost of wages for our team. If we happen to be able to fill the gap with a new booking your deposit will be transferred to your next appointment instead of us keeping it.
No-Shows: If you fail to attend your appointment for any reason without contacting us your deposit will not be refunded and you may be asked for a 50% deposit if you rebook with us, depending on the circumstances.

We all need something to look forward to while we’re stuck in lockdown and this is our offering that will leave you pampered from head to toe. Here’s what you get…
Your ‘feel good’ journey begins with a 30 minute Relaxation Massage. Back of body or front of body – it’s up to you! Either way, you’ll feel the stress melting away as you enjoy your deeply relaxing massage by expert hands that ends with a divine foot massage.
Don’t get up yet though, the next step is a fabulous Eminence Organics Express Facial. Your fully cutomised facial includes gentle cleansing and exfoliation, a gorgeously creamy masque and a dreamy scalp massage followed by application of a serum, moisturiser and eyecream.
You do have to get up now but it’s definitely worth it. Once you’re sufficiently awake you’ll take a seat at our Nail Desk and enjoy a beverage of your choice while your beauty therapist expertly files and shapes your fingernails, tames those overgrown cuticles and applies a polish of your choice.
Next stop is the basin area where one of our fantastic hair experts will be waiting to help you continue your journey. Your hair will be washed with one of our gorgeous organic, cruelty-free, low-tox Aussie shampoos from either muk.Haircare or Pure by Hairjamm. A hair treatment, fully customised to your hair requirements, is now applied and gently massaged into your hair and scalp. A warm towel is then applied to your hair and eyepads to your eyes so you can drift off to your own happy place while the treatment infuses into your hair.
After rinsing your hair with soothing warm water, your hair expert will treat you to a beautiful blow wave – straight, bouncy, voluminous – it’s your choice!
We’ll even give you another cuppa to enjoy while you marvel at how shiny and silky your hair is, how smooth and radiant your skin is, how fab your nails look and how utterly wonderful you feel.
This clearly isn’t a treatment that can or should be rushed. You’ll need to allow 2.5 hours plus a bit more time so you’re not rushing between each service – we want this to be a calming and relaxing experience for you.
During September and October we’re offering this gorgeous treatment for just $179. It will be available to purchase as a Gift Voucher during this time – Christmas is just over the horizon – and the voucher will be valid until the end of January 2022. From November ‘The Works’ will be available at it’s regular price of $250.

COVID SAFETY RULES:
Due to ongoing hygiene and social distancing rules we request that all guests at the salon agree to the following conditions:
We want you to relax and enjoy your time with us so it’s important that you know our cleaning schedule:
All surfaces are sprayed with disinfectant and Glen 20 after each use – your chair and table top in front of the mirror, the basin and basin chair, every item that your stylist or therapist uses including scissors, hairdryers, brushes, combes, tweezers, tint brushes and everything else they touch. Our eftpos machine is wiped with methylated spirits after each use.
Throughout the day we also regularly disinfect and spray with Glen 20 every door handle including the exterior door handles, light switch, tap, and the toilet and toilet button. This is done roughly every 2 hours.
At the end of the day every single surface is washed with hot soapy water and then sprayed with disinfectant and Glen 20 and left to dry overnight. This includes every chair and couch, every table top including our front desk, every bench and shelf and our flooring.
In our beauty rooms there is fresh disposable bedroll covering the towels for each client and the towels are washed and replaced after every appointment.

As members of Sustainable Salons we’ve been recycling more than 95% of our salon waste for the last 3 years. We love the fact that we’re not contributing to landfill with items like foil, plastic, chemicals and hair all being recycled in useful and imaginative ways. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so you can fill out a Consultation Form and enjoy a relaxing cup of tea before your treatment.
Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years however if the price of our services are increased during that time you will be required to pay the difference for the service.
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash or products. They are for services only.
If you have a gift voucher and fail to attend your appointment you will forfeit the voucher.
If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice you will forfeit the voucher. If you are unexpectedly unable to attend it is advised that you send someone else in your place to enjoy the service so the voucher is not wasted.
If you arrive late for your appointment your service will be cut short so the client booked in after you is not inconvenienced however the voucher will still be redeemed for the original service booked. If time permits, the entire service will be provided.
We understand that sometimes life gets in the way of hair and beauty bookings. If you need to move or cancel your appointment please give us 48 hours notice so we can offer your timeslot to another guest. Obviously there are circumstances that can make 48 hours notice impossible to give so at those times please let us know as soon as you can.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals – If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment you may be asked for a deposit of 50% when rebooking, depending on the circumstances and the service booked. If you arrive late for your appointment we may need to cut your service short so the client booked in after you is not inconvenienced however you will still be charged for the original service booked. If time permits the entire service will be provided.
Deposits – We now require deposits for most services as follows: New Clients and Occasional Clients – 25% Regular Clients – 15%. Deposits will be rolled over to your next appointment if you give us 48 hours notice that you need to reschedule. No-Shows and cancellations/rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit their deposit. Clients who book online will be contacted so we can take your deposit over the phone.
